The Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF adds Cardano to its portfolio

The Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF (NASDAQ:NCIQ) has announced the inclusion of Cardano (ADA) in its portfolio, effective since Wednesday. According to a statement based on a recent SEC filing, Cardano, which is a component of the Nasdaq Crypto US Settlement Price Index, has become an eligible asset under the generic listing standards adopted by the Nasdaq Stock Market and approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

With this change, the ETF’s portfolio now includes Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Stellar Lumens (XLM), XRP (XRP), and Cardano (ADA). Holdings are subject to quarterly rebalancing and may be adjusted to include additional components of the index in accordance with the index methodology and listing standards.

The sponsor stated that it will continue to monitor the index composition and adjust the ETF’s holdings as necessary to replicate the index, following the restrictions set forth in the index methodology and listing standards.
